AMERICAS CUP (AC) RACES INFORMATION:
The AC World series races will be held
at different locations around the world and will be
sailed with 42 foot catamarans (AC 42) specifically
designed for these races. The first AC WORLS SERIES
race is scheduled to be held Aug 6, 2011 in Cascais
Portugal and will continue in different ports around
the world (not in San Francisco).
The 72 foot Catamaran (AC72) will
be on the water but not raced July 1, 2012.
The Americas Cup elimination “Louis
Vitton” races will be sailed with the 72 foot catamarans
(AC 72) on San Francisco Bay July 13- Sept 1, 2013.
The Americas Cup race between the defending
Oracle and the winner of the Louis Vitton races are
scheduled :
To be raced on San Francisco Bay
on September 2, 2013
America's
Cup to be held in San Francisco in 2013

WYC Executive Board Meetings are scheduled for the
second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Clubhouse
(date subject to chg).
All WYC members are welcome to attend these meetings
and to be involved with the club organization and
are encouraged to make comments & recommendations.
Remember - this is YOUR club too. Contact Diane Martin
at least 1 wk prior if you have something special
that you would like to present to the Board and be
put on the agenda.
