NOTICE OF RACE AND SAILING INSTRUCTIONS COMMODORE CUP 2010 LTWYC

A Pursuit Race (reverse phrf start) to be sailed Sunday July 18, 2010, approx starting time 12 noon at Club Mark (O) South Lake Tahoe.

Skippers Meeting/Registration 0945-1015 at Tahoe Keys Hoist. Late entrants MAY be allowed at discretion of the Race Committee on the water. Other arrangements, like early registration , e mail sdkatzman@yahoo.com.

This race in accordance with a Deed of Gift from Vic Beelik.

Start according to Rule 26, except at minute 0 (zero) shall start slowest phrf (252). Thereafter start according to below listed phrf.

Rule 29.1 modified: the race committee MAY hail or display flag X, onus is on over early to restart, if over early and no restart that boat gets 30 min added to its time.

Marks as described on our web site, racing page. With exception: mark Q may be temporary inflatable set a short distance from actual mark Q. Round only the inflatable. Other marks might have an inflatable tied to them , in that case round both.

Course may be signalled by flags, numerals, hail, VHF 68.

Cut off time is 1700. If no boat finishes by 1700 race is abandoned. Comm boat may leave at 1745. Late finishers report their time to RC.
