9th Anual Womens Sailing Clinic

Lake Tahoe Windjammers Yacht Club presents the 9th Annual Women's Sailing Clinic Saturday, August 1, 2009

Location: Tahoe Keys Marina Meeting Room (upstairs from office - bldg. next to the Fresh Ketch Restaurant - please park in the outer lot - or you will get a ticket and possibly towed if parked in front of the Fresh Ketch)

When: Registration from 8:00-8:30 Continental Breakfast Classroom Instruction begins at 8:30 Gourmet Lunch at 12:30 - Included in the price Optional on-the-water Instruction begins after lunch. Bring appropriate clothing, white soled shoes & a life jacket is required if you would like to be a guest on a sailboat for the afternoon.

Classes Offered: Beginner Sailing Fundamentals & Basic Techniques & Knots Intermediate Sail Trim, Helming, Tacking, Radio & Man Overboard Rescue Advanced Intermediate Sail Trim & Spinnaker Handling

Bonus: A special full-day Beginner CruisingSession will also be offered by Gabrielle Pereira on The Pirate on a future date for $100.

Cost: $65 WYC Members • $75 Non-Members ( a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Research) Great Raffle Prizes
